The Washing Machine Strikes Again

Our washing machine has started eating our clothes again. Actually it's mostly been Greg's clothes...I wonder why. Greg says he can still wear the shredded shorts. I told him they are too immodest to wear in public, but maybe we can turn them into some sort of lingerie for him...

Still Sweet As Can Be????

Ava has started screaming. Not just a little scream. I mean, it really hurts my ears...I am usually left with a ringing in my ears. It is loud and high pitched and makes me CRAZY!!! I have a theory as to why she does this. For one...she's a girl (please tell me this is a girl thing and not an Ava thing)! Second, from the time she was born, she's heard screaming everyday of her life (not from me...I have never been known to yell at the kids). Maybe she thinks that's how she's supposed to speak. She definitely has the Pyfer volume!! Despite the screaming, we are loving have this little girl in our family. She is still pretty darn sweet!

She's started standing on her own and loves to practice doing it. She has also started taking a couple of steps every once in a while too! I can't believe she is almost a year old. Where did the time go? She loves her brothers and they are already training her for the BWF (Borup Wrestling Federation). They love to give her a sword and let her pound away on them...they think it is so funny. We'll see how funny it is when she gets her accuracy and strength!

Discovery Center Field Trip

We were a little concerned about this until we asked him what it was. He told us it was Hot Chocolate. Whew!!
Carson loved this little shopping area. He wasn't too happy about putting everything away though!

Greg kept finding all these exhibits that would shock you. I hate to be shocked but he kept insisting that it wasn't that big of a shock! Hayden was coerced only once....
