April Happenings

Our annual Easter egg coloring.

Carson was really into it!

Carson rides a two-wheeler these days....

One of the many tricks Jason can do on his bike.

Here's Ava's tricks too....

Pine Wood Derby and Preschool Field Trip

This was Hayden's first pine wood derby. How exciting. He had so much fun even though his car didn't always win. I think Greg was more bugged about it than Hayden. Greg is determined to make a better car next year. Every boy got an award and Hayden's was the "110% award." Whatever that means...Maybe "nice try", or "you had a loser car but you spent a lot of time on it" or "you work really hard but have no talent."
Carson's preschool took a field trip to a dairy farm. They got to feed baby calves with a huge bottle.

He matches so well with the tractor. We totally planned that!

At first Ava was scared to be put down with all the cows around, but after a while she warmed up to them and sometimes got a little too close.
Of course, the rock pile was the main attraction...

We found a dead calf and the kids were all very intrigued and couldn't stop talking about it. Sad..

This and That

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here. But you can't beat watching the boys hula. Nothing too exciting has been going on but figured I'd better post some pics of the kids before our new little guy arrives and gets all the attention and photos!

I don't know how Carson's face got this dirty and neither did he!

Our nail biter! This kid bites them to a stub...

We had such beautiful weather a week ago. It is sad to have to put back on our winter clothes.

The face of concentration playing the Wii!

Ava is a tool girl. She loves playing with the tool box...especially the goggles.

They actually let me take a picture of them. Of course I had to threaten them that if they didn't cooperate...they were going to be done playing the Wii. The smiles just came out of nowhere!!!

Greg finally got me a bike and trailer off Craig's list, so now there is no excuse for me to stay home while they go on a bike ride. I actually thought it was so fun and want to go again. We went to the greenbelt and overall had very few accidents. Jason can't squeeze his brakes to stop, so he is a little out of control and gets mad when he has to stop, but they all did really well riding the greenbelt.

Here's the long line of Borup's....quite an entourage!
