Yucky!

I've started trying to get Ava to eat a little solid food, but she's not a big fan yet...unless it's fruits. I went against all the Doctor's advice and fed her fruits after failing to get her to eat ANY veggies. Being a 4th time Mom, I figured I had that right. I know, I know...she'll probably never eat a vegetable again! But actually it's worked...she now will eat the vegetables. She just had to figure out that she liked to eat before she accepted the vegetables. The boys love to feed her (I usually only allow it if I am trying to cook dinner and need help keeping her happy...I can't handle the mess they make on her face, the highchair, the floor...). Look how cute she is even with all the mess on her face!! She must get that from Greg...

Carson's Birthday

Carson's birthday turned out to be pretty fun. Last Christmas he was a little terror, so we weren't sure how he was going to be for his Bday this year. He was making some pretty funny faces while he opened his presents. We actually scored with presents this year. All the boys coveted what Carson received: Action Swords and Iron Man. It's hard to shop for the third boy...luckily the older boys break the old toys, so we can always use new superheroes, swords, balls...you name it!

Oh How I Love to Blog

So, a year ago I didn't even know what a blog was, but I have since found that I love to do it! I already have two going...a Pyfer and Borup family. So I figured Greg and I needed to have one of our own! It's a great way to log the events of our life (I'm making up for not keeping a journal...I know, how lame). It's also an easy (because I'm lazy) way to keep in touch with friends! So, blog away!!!
