Weston 7 months

This little boy will have SO MANY pictures...Aren't the last couple of kids only supposed to have one baby picture taken of them?  Not this one...

These pictures were taken to redeem myself (and Weston) after the "leg warmer" incident...Greg approves of these!
How am I EVER going to be able to tell him "No" when he looks at me with those eyes?

Christmas at the Borups

For Christmas this year, my parents and my brother and his family came for the weekend.  Greg's parents also spent part of the weekend with us.  It was SO nice not to travel.  We love hosting the holidays!  It was such a fun weekend and the kids had a lot fun opening their presents and of course, playing with them.  This is the first time I've noticed a HUGE difference between girls and boys.  After all the presents were unwrapped, Ava sat quietly playing with all her new toys while the boys were running around like crazy shooting each other with dart guns, throwing balls around, and just being BOYS.  It is so interesting to me to see it b/c Ava has never had dolls or princess things, but THAT is all she wanted and so Santa delivered.  I think everyone should spend Christmas with children.  They make it fun!

His first Christmas....And our first Christmas with a REAL LIVE TREE.  I'm not sure I would do it again.  The needles are a pain (literally when you step on them) to clean up.  But the smell was amazing!

So, I realize I need to find some different backgrounds, but I work with what I have.  I wanted to take pictures of her with her Christmas Church clothes.  She is just too darn fun to dress up and take pictures of...although she was one wiggly little girl this time.  I didn't think I got any great ones of her, but these turned out so sweet!

December at the Borups

Carson   4 months old.  He had the bluest eyes...I still love that about him.  He's our only kid with those bright blue eyes!

Carson turned 5 years old this month.  He was SO excited about everything he got.  He kept telling me that he was taller now that he was five.  And that he was going to be doing a lot more talking now that he was five.  He is right about that!!  Happy Bday buddy!

We also did some potty training, nursing and lost a tooth.

I potty trained Ava a few weeks ago.  I know I still have one more kid to potty train but I seriously don't think I can do it again.  Whenever we have contemplated having more kids, two things run through my mind:  One, that I have to give birth to it and second that I have to potty train that child!

Jason lost his first tooth this month.  He has been wondering when that tooth was going to fall out for a LONG time.

Ava learned how to feed her babies.  One day I looked over and there she was...with a baby under her shirt...
